Traveling the world watching sports is my passion…

Having spent 11 years in the golf travel industry and traveling the globe, I’ve seen how sports impacts people across every culture. As Americans, some times we forget there are people at baseball games in Tokyo or Irish Hurling games in Dublin fanatically cheering on their teams. Don’t get me wrong, I like watching the Dallas Cowboy’s cheerleaders and tailgating just like the next guy, but I find the “world” of sports fascinating.

Sports and food are the best way to immerse yourself into a culture when traveling. Attending the Octoberfest before a Bayern Munich football match, drinking in the “Bricklayer Pub” before a Tottenham game, sipping on champagne at the Monaco Grand Prix, or cheering on Team USA at the Ryder Cup are all amazing experiences. They allow you to meet people from many different backgrounds while having loads of fun!

My goal is to share a creative and entertaining perspective to sports travel. I hope you see you on a fairway, at the pitch or near a race track some time soon. Enjoy!
