Most people are unfamiliar with the United Arab Emirates and may even think it’s apart of Saudi Arabia…
In fact, they are two totally different countries with the UAE being much more progressive than Saudi Arabia, making it a far better travel destination than Saudi Arabia.
The Yas Marina Circuit is the host of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and is an absolutely incredible venue. It looks like a race track out of Star Wars where “podracers” would speed around the planet “Tatooine”.

History & Design at Yas Marina Circuit
Built in 2009, Yas Marina Circuit is located on Yas Island, which was named the gobal leading tourism project that year. Not only is the circuit an incredible venue for Formula 1, it’s also an amazing area of Abu Dhabi that is a “must see” on any itinerary.

The original design and performance of the racetrack had mixed reviews from the drivers. Apparently Kimi Raikkonen said “the first few turns are quite good, but the rest of it is shit”.
Well, Abu Dhabi Sports Management listened to Kimi and remodeled the track in 2021 making it a much better driving experience. So it was no surprise that there was so much drama at the end of the 2021 season, which took place at the newly designed Yas Marina Circuit.
Why should you travel to Abu Dhabi?
The Yas Marina Circuit includes a golf course, multiple hotels, Ferrari’s theme park, a water park, a mall, concert hall, nightclub and a beach! It’s a paradise of epic proportions and is the most luxurious Formula 1 circuit on the schedule.

Grandstands & Hospitality
The world class hospitality options at Yas Marina Circuit are endless if you have the means. There are incredible views if you get a spot in the main grandstands or at turn 6, which are both overtaking stretches. Yas Marina holds a ten year contract to host the final race of the year. Let’s hope all the final races are as exciting as 2021!
